Exciting Updates to Hot or Not: Decline Offers
By jotusJan 29 2024 11:43:37Today I announce some exciting updates to our Hot or Not feature, designed to empower artists and streamline the offer process. Your feedback is crucial to us, and we’re constantly working to improve your experience on our platform. Here’s what’s new:
1. Artist Empowerment through Declining Offers:
Artists now have the option to decline deal offers. This feature ensures that artists have full control over the offers they receive and the ones they want to pursue. When you decline an offer, it’s kept confidential and not shown to the curator, protecting your privacy and decision-making process.
2. Mandatory Reason for Declining:
To help us understand your needs better, artists are required to provide a brief reason when declining an offer (minimum of 5 characters). This feedback is invaluable as it helps us tailor the Hot or Not feature to better suit your preferences and helps curators understand how to make more relevant offers in the future.
3. One Offer Per Song Per Artist:
To reduce spam risks and ensure the quality of offers, curators can now only send one offer per song to each artist. This change means more meaningful and targeted offers for artists, and it encourages curators to be more selective and thoughtful in their outreach.
These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to making letssubmit the best possible platform for both artists and curators. We believe these changes will lead to more fruitful collaborations and a better overall experience.
As always, we’re eager to hear your thoughts and feedback. Let’s continue to make letssubmit a vibrant, supportive community for music promotion and discovery!
Keep rocking,
Joel
