Joel's Summer Shenanigans ☀️
Ah, July, a month of sunshine and adventures! I kicked off the summer with a bang by visiting Gdansk with the family. If you’ve ever wondered what heaven looks like, it’s a Polish beach with bars - a concept tragically missing from Swedish shores. Seriously, Sweden, step up your beach game!!
While in Sopot, I decided to channel my inner rock star and brought my little musette accordion to the beach. Imagine this: a warm sunny day, the sound of waves crashing, and then... the Pirates of the Caribbean theme blasting from my accordion! By 11 AM, a full-fledged beach party was underway. I threw in some ABBA and even a little “What Is Love” for good measure. Let me tell you, watching people attempt to dance in the sand at that hour is a sight to behold!
Back in Sweden, the weather has been as delightful as the company of old friends. It’s amazing how much more time you have for socializing as the kids grow older. Speaking of free time, I got a robotic lawn mower for my 40th birthday, which means I now have more time to chase after my two other passions: running and consuming enormous amounts of beer and food. Gotta maintain that balance, right?
So, here’s to great music, sun-kissed beaches, and adventures that make life worth living!Give me a shout anytime on the chat at the page's bottom right if You wanna chat!
Cheers
Joel
